LHQM

The goal

LHQM is a healthcare web management system designed for a Barangay Health Center in the Philippines. The platform digitizes the health center's operations, making it easier for barangay residents to access health services, schedule consultations, and stay informed, while giving health workers and administrators a centralized tool to manage patient records and health programs.

What they needed

• Digitize patient record management and health service delivery at the barangay level
• Provide residents with easy access to health information, services, and scheduling
• Support health workers with tools for tracking immunizations, consultations, and referrals
• Comply with Philippine health data standards and local government requirements

What we built

• Patient registration and health record management (medical history, vaccinations, consultations)
• Appointment scheduling for consultations, prenatal checkups, and immunizations
• Health program tracking (Maternal & Child Health, Immunization, TB-DOTS, Senior Citizen programs)
• Medicine inventory and dispensing logs
• Announcements board for health advisories, outreach programs, and barangay health events
• Admin dashboard for health workers to manage queues, records, and reports
• Report generation for submission to higher health authorities (RHU, DOH)

How we did it

Designed with accessibility as a priority: clean, high-contrast UI suitable for health workers who may not be highly tech-savvy. The system is optimized for low-bandwidth environments common in barangay settings and is built to function on standard government-issue hardware.

The result

A community-level digital health infrastructure that improves service delivery at the grassroots, reducing paper-based record keeping, improving health program monitoring, and making healthcare more accessible to Filipino residents at the barangay level.
